Along the Virgina Cut
We tried to time it right. We left the dock in time to make the first bridge opening and we were on schedule to make the lock opening on the Virgina Cut but eleven power and seven sail boats had to wait an hour because the tide was so high that the gears for opening the lock were submerged.
