Anchorage North Lake Worth, Palm Gardens, FL

Our friends, Marilyn and Russ from Mumford Cove, met us for lunch at Waterfront Cafe.

Do you think a storm is coming?

We got a picture of Tiger's boat, Privacy, before they covered the name. Click on the picture to enlarge it and see the name.  We are anchored across from it.  We hurried to North Lake Worth to met up with some friends who were waiting for us, Foreign Exchange, we enjoyed a great dinner on their boat.  They left the next morning for points north!

After dinner we returned to the boat, we heard a strange noise.  After much investigating--from the flybridge to the engine room and aftdeck--we really couldn't figure out what it was.  Ed said it was a mantatee under the boat.  Linda, of course, told him he was nuts.
Anyway, the next morning we got an email from Foreign Exchange who had the same experience and they concluded the noise they heard was a manatee. After thinking about it, we think the manatee were seeking warmth--it has been so cold here for southern floridians.  We had been running all day and the hull of the boat was warm from the engines!

Dolphins at Clewiston on Lake Okeechobee

What a beautiful sunset we were treated to

It was such a calm night that we decided to tie up to the dolphins near Clewiston on Lake Okeechobee

Our month was up in Ft Myers and we started making our way across to the East Coast of Florida along the Okeechobee waterway
