The state wants to build more jail space on the waterfront!

Back in Brunswick, Georgia with the beautiful paper plant in the background!  Have you ever smelled a paper mill - you can't forget it!  Too bad this isn't smell-a-blog!

Icicles hanging off our gutters in CT.  Decided it was time to head back south to the boat.

Sunset over Mumford Cove and Long Island Sound

Snow drift on our deck over looking almost frozen Mumford Cove
Left Shore Thing for a rest after running down the east coast.  We went home for Thanksgiving and Christmas to be with family.

The restaurant was closed but the owner cooked dinner for us

Anchorage South Edisto River, SC

Just after we set our anchor the sky started to clear and we got this beautiful sunset

When we came around the conner, we were trying to figure out what this was.  It is just long docks in a row.

Can't imagine painting our boat like this

Seagulls looking for dinner behind our boat

Mr Frog, is stationed at Noank Shipyard in the summer.  We met them in Georgetown and they are on their way to the Bahamas

Anybody from Mumford Cove recognize this boat?

Charleston Maritime Marina

32 47.346N
79 55.474W

Just another look out of the marina

Still some dark clouds around on Fri morning.  Another boat from CT is visible over the top of Shore Thing,  Cosmo from the Mystic River

The flags are still standing out straight Fri morning.  You can see a little blue in the sky.  Looks like the worst of Ida and company are past us.  Coming into Charleston Harbor was  a challenge on Thurs.  A squall was coming across the habor, visibility was poor, winds around 20 gusting to 30 and the only positive was there was no shipping traffic.
