Downtown Portsmouth
Looking out from our dock across the river where they are refurbishing an aircraft carrier. The operation is around the clock.
We arrived at the free dock in Portsmouth and decided to go to the movie theater that also serves dinner. We knew that the tide would be unually high and that we might have to wade back to the boat when we returned from the movie.
A better look at the sub
It was a snarly day on the Chesapeake. We encountered this sub on its way to the York River. I thought for a minute we were back home watching the sub. In CT the subs do not go that slow--the wake was not bad.
