Team Bren enjoying the most delicious pike!

Cook--rest of the team

Fillet--part of the team

We finally have a happy camper (boater).  We weren't sure that Bren would come on the boat again since he did not have good luck catching much of anything.  He says it was worth the wait!

Six pound, 31" Pike!

Team Bren--trolling with the dinghy they finally caught a big one.

First swim in Lake Champlain

Another view of the Crown Point Bridge under construction

A couple of years ago the bridge that spanned this point was blown up.  Ferries now take cars across the gap and they are building this bridge across Crown Point at the lower end of Lake Champlain

This machine is used to cut and gather the weeds growing under water and then they off load the weeds to trucks along the shore

Kayakers along the way

Mansion at Whitehall--end of the canal.  We will be in Lake Champlain soon!

Plane taking off from LaGuardia airport and flying over the Whitestone Bridge

Approaching Hellgate where the East River and Harlem River meet.  Last time through currents were running against us but this time we were able to time it better--we had a swift ride!

Someone had a lot of imagination--this is very far from the Harlem River

More pictures along the Harlem River--Manhattan Island is on the right

Just emerged from the Harlem River on to the Hudson River just past the George Washington Bridge looking back on New York City

Trip to Lake Champlain Calf Island, Byram Harbor

40 59.851N
73 38.384W

We have been plagued with fog all spring and early summer and Fri was no different.  We attempted to leave Mumford Cove at 5:30 am and then tried around noon only to return to MC because it would have been a white knuckle ride all day.  There was a lot of chatter from boaters coming through Watch Hill Passage--visibility was not good.

Sailboat races on the Long Island Sound
Sure hope he has it under control

Beautiful Greenwich, CT., home in our anchorage.
It was a much better ride today, not having to worry about fog!
