Today we have a good day to go in the Ocean--we had very calm, smooth seas as you can see in this picture going under the Verazzano Bridge

After three nights in Atlantic City we were able to leave and head north on the ICW.  No pictures today.  The ride was too tedious--skinny water everywhere!  We were exhausted when the day ended.  Never again on the inside of the Jersey Shore!

Atlantic City Aquarium Dock

Atlantic City Boardwalk.  We took in a show at Tropacana on Sunday for Mother's Day.
We moved Shore Thing to a dock on Sat.  The winds had picked up overnight and we decided to head for shelter.  There were wind gusts to 40mph.  We were glad to be on a dock.

All the boats that were fishing today had these things in the water behind the boat.  We don't know what it is--can you tell us what it is?

Staging of the kayaks for the event.  They so graciously invited us for breakfast before we took off from the dock.  It was egg mc muffin and wonderful coffee--they had told us that it was biscuits and gravy so we were pleasently surprised.  We got going before the paddlers got in the water.
