Some industrious people selling hot dogs etc in the anchorage
We spent three nights at this anchorage--it was very hot and a nice place to swim.  Our schedule was such that we had to take our time to get to Kingston

Some sites along the Harlem River
And passing us along the Harlem River
Entering Hells Gate--the Coast Guard was announcing that 70 Boston Whaler boats were going to circumnavigate Manhattan starting in the East River and heading to the Harlem River.  Needless to say, we were a little concerned--it actualy turned out to be about 25 boats and you can see some of them approaching us.
Traffic was really backed up on the Whitestone Bridge!

We met up with our "buddy boat" Golden Lily, coming our of Manhassett Bay as planned.  We had decided to take the Harlem River route to the Hudson; Jim and Barbara had done it many times.  We met Golden Lily in Michigan when we were both doing the loop.
