We had a few hours of entertainment watching these people arrive for a sunset cruise on the River. We kept waiting for the boat to leave the dock--it never happened. We found out the next day that it had been booked as an engagement party and the crew discovered that it was actually a faternity party and most arrived under the influence. The crew cancelled the cruise when things started to get too tipsy and sent them home by 9:30. But they were really dressed nice!
These kids were partying on the boat even though it was on a lift! It didn't seem to bother them.
This had been a store until two years ago. They people purchased this property and renovated three floors and used a contemperary design throughout. It was spectacular!
This was not on the tour but we were impressed with how narrow this house was.
The House and Garden Tour was at twelve places. We could not take pictures inside the houses or the gardens. The Historical Society started buying properties in the Anson Borough when it was run down. They then fixed the properties up and sold them to people who promised to keep the properties true the period.
