They only allow electric golf carts on the island--we shared the rental of a golf cart with Full Circle. It was quite pleasant to motor around the island--no motor noises!

Ferry just leaving Bald Head Island with a retired fireman--leaving after his last day of work. Firetrucks turned out of the event.
Pontoon Bridge only opens on the hour and 1/2 hour. We didn't have to wait long.33 24.252N
